Building Something Different

Mel founded Rocket Science in 2002 with a clear vision: to provide clients with a highly experienced, flexible, and strategic alternative to traditional advertising agencies and large consultancies. Her goal then remains unchanged today—to serve as a seamless extension of her clients’ teams, delivering strategies grounded in customer insight, supported by sound financial modelling, and brought to life through compelling creative content that drives long-term, measurable commercial value.

Mel’s industry leadership has been recognised through her selection as a Finalist for B&T Marketer of the Year and Strategy categories. She was also awarded the ADMA Australian Young Direct Marketer of the Year in 2002. Beyond her client work, Mel has contributed to industry education through webinars to channel partners, by teaching the ADMA Data Driven Marketing course and she continues to mentor emerging talent in the field.

When she’s not crafting marketing strategies, Mel enjoys staying active, playing the ukulele, singing in her local choir, and exploring the stunning south coast of NSW where she calls home.
